15 years of PolyglobeMusic Austria 1989-2004

A record label on the track of unusual sounds.
PolyglobeMusic is situated in the Tyrol, in the west of Austria, far away from the mainstream music scene and has now, for almost 15 years PolyglobeMusic "grown" unusual "CD-plants" worth listening to, which find many lovers in and outside of Austria. The independent music publishing and production company concentrates on the production and release of harmonising and vitalising sounds that have their origin in various cultures and music styles. Vital and spirited music exerts magic on the listener, who cannot evade its impact. The listener is impressed, without exactly knowing why. This process can be described as "listening with the heart". Listening with the heart and conscious dealing with sound is the basis of all of PolyglobeMusic's fields of activity.

Especially our harmonising sound CDs for therapeutic use are created with much loving care. The production is influenced by medical and scientific knowledge as well as years of practical experience.

In addition to the CD programme, PolyglobeMusic has developed a new product called the "soundbook" (Tonbuch) in the year 2000. A soundbook consists of one or more audio-CDs and a paperback in CD format. The contents of both media complement one another in a very sensible way and are thereby of even more advantage to the customer. Due to its innovative character and to some extent because of its CD format, the soundbook is a welcome product in any ordinary CD stand in bookshops and recordstores. Through our familiar and well-established way of attending to the unusual, PolyglobeMusic has succeeded to strengthen their position as the genre's leading production company, not only within Austria but on an international basis in the last 15 years.

The sound carriers are sold over a network of partner firms in Europe as well as overseas.
